Bathymetric survey of the Sacramento River, San Joaquin River, South Delta, and associated tributaries. <\/SPAN><\/P> Specific areas surveyed include, but are not limited to: the western part of Browns and Winter Islands, Antioch Reach, parts of the Sacramento River, parts of the San Joaquin River, Kimball Island, the periphery of Sherman Lake, Mayberry Cut, Donlon Island, Georgiana Slough, a section of the Delta Cross Channel, Steamboat Slough, Sutter Slough, Elk Slough, Prospect Slough, Liberty Cut, Lindsey Slough, French Island, Little Hastings Cut, Hass Slough, parts of Ulatis Creek, Sugar Cut, Old RIver, Paradise Cut, Little Potato Slough, Devils Isle, Little Connection Slough, White Slough, Hog Island, Whiskey Slough, Columbia Cut, Headreach Island, Ward Island, Tinsley Island, Medford Island, Three River Reach, Middle River, Mildred Island, Connection Slough, Little Mandeville Island, Bacon Island, Holland Cut, Rhode Island, Fay Island, Kaketan Island, Purakkun Island, Aero Island, Beetle Island, McFly Island, Empire Cut, Spud Island, Haypress Reach, Acker Island, and Turner Cut. <\/SPAN><\/P> The survey took place in 1999 using single beam echo sounder technology and was performed by DWR.
