 "description": "<DIV STYLE=\"text-align:Left;\"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The California Department of Water Resources (CA-DWR), North Central Region Office (NCRO), Bathymetry Data Collection Section, conducted a bathymetric survey of Little Mandeville Island for the Bay Delta Office (BDO). The main purpose of the data is to replace outdated and inaccurate data, improve innudation mapping throughout the Delta and help with the evaluation of restoration proposals nearby. This dataset is from kayak-mounted singlebeam sonar for the northwest corner of the Island and is meant to supplement a grid of multibeam strips for the remainder of the Island. <\/SPAN><SPAN><SPAN>The data were collected in NAD83 (California State Plane Zone III coordinate system) and NAVD88 datums.<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>\u2022 Survey Dates: March 11, 2019 <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN STYLE=\"font-size:12pt\">\u2022 Instrumentation: Singlebeam echo sounder with Inertially-Aided Post-Processed Kinematic (IAPPK) GPS procedures<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>\u2022 Point Spacing: about 1 Foot<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>\u2022 Horizontal Units: US Foot<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>\u2022 Vertical Units: US Foot<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN STYLE=\"font-size:10pt\">\u2022 Related datasets: Little Mandeville Island, April 2019 -- multibeam grid; Little Mandeville Island, June 2020 -- multibeam data for levee breaches<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
