The main purpose of the survey was to replace outdated and inaccurate data, help with the evaluation of a large number of restoration proposals nearby, and inform the re-operation of the Montezuma Slough Salinity Control Structure for the Delta Smelt Resiliency Strategy being implemented in 2018.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The data were collected in NAD83 (California State Plane Zone II coordinate system) and NAVD88 datums.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Survey Dates: December 3-6 and December 18, 2018&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Singlebeam echo sounder with Inertially-Aided Post-Processed Kinematic (IAPPK) GPS procedures.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Point Spacing: about 1 Foot&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Horizontal Units: US Foot&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;• Vertical Units: US Foot&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Related datasets: Multibeam: Montezuma Slough, July 2018; Suisun Slough, October 2018; Nurse Slough, October 2018. • Sound velocity: AML Base X2 Sound Velocity Profiler Field Practices: Field calibration tests (including sound velocity readings, and manual depth soundings) were regularly performed in order to ensure data quality and positional accuracy. Singlebeam data were collected on the survey vessel and recorded using Hypack Hydrographic Survey software (Hypack). Data were processed using either Caris or Hypack, exported as a text file, and imported in a geodatabase using ArcGIS software.
