 "description": "<DIV STYLE=\"text-align:Left;\"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The California Department of Water Resources (DWR), North Central Region Office (NCRO), Bathymetry Data Collection Section, conducted a bathymetric survey of the Sacramento Deep Water Ship Channel between the Sacramento River locks and the Industrial Blvd. overpass. The main purpose of the data is to help better understand flow and water quality dynamics and to assist with quality control of related datasets. This survey supplements a singlebeam survey of the Ship Channel, also conducted by DWR in August 2019, and a multibeam survey by USGS from December 2018. <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>\u2022 Survey Date: August 5, 2019 <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>\u2022 Instrumentation: Multibeam echo sounder with Inertially-Aided Post-Processed Kinematic (IAPPK) GPS procedures. <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>\u2022 Density: 1 ft grid <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>\u2022 Datum: NAD83 (California State Plane Zone II) horizontal, NAVD88 vertical (US Feet) <\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>\u2022 Related datasets: Sacramento Deep Water Ship Channel Single Beam, August 2019; USGS Sacramento Deep Water Ship Channel Multibeam, December 2018 (EXTERNAL)<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
