<idAbs>This is a mosaic of the hydro-flattened digital elevation model (DEM) surfaces of the San Francisco Bay and Sacramento San Joaquin Delta. This only includes the section of the acquisition that corresponds to California State Plane Zone 3. This LiDAR was collected by NV5 & Guida through a DWR contract and partnership with
Delta Stewardship Council (DSC), Delta Conservancy, and San Francisco Estuary Institute
(SFEI). The overall work unit area covered approximately 1,988 square miles over California
at Quality Level 1 LiDAR according to USGS 3DEP standards. LiDAR data was acquired from
August 22, 2025 to October 6, 2025 in 24 total lifts. Rasters are provided at 1 foot grid size.
The Basis for this Survey is the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83(2011)) constrained
to the California Spatial Reference Center (CSRC) Continuous Global Position System
(CGPS) stations using published CSRC NAD83(2011) 2025.00 epoch adjustment values
and the Geoid 18 Model. Results are shown in California Coordinate System 1983
(NAD83(2011) 2025.00 epoch) Zones 2 and 3, US Survey Feet and North American Vertical
Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) in U.S. Survey Feet based upon NAD83(2011) 2025.00 epoch
ellipsoid heights with the Geoid 18 model applied.
Please see the DWR QC Report and Guida Survey Reports for more information. DWR’s aerial mapping consultant, Guida has cleared this dataset to meet project requirements and project specifications under the direction of their California Licensed Land Surveyor.
The associated data are considered DWR enterprise GIS data, which meet all appropriate requirements of the DWR Spatial Data Standards, specifically the DWR Spatial Data Standard version 3.6, dated September 27, 2023.
