Purpose:
Primary purpose is to quantify floating and submerged aquatic vegetation in the channel.
Survey Date and Time:
Data was collected on 11/9/2023 1100-1330 PST
Imagery Acquisition:
The imagery was collected using a DJI Phantom 4 RTK UAS, operating at 300’ above ground level, along a 2D grid from levee to levee on Old River from Middle River to Doughty Cut. The field collection was controlled by a DJI Phantom4 RTK controller running the DJI GS RTK app.
Software Processing:
Images were imported into ArcGIS Pro 3.1.0 using the Ortho Mapping workspace tool, block adjusted, and an Orthomosaic was generated. No external control points were used for this project.
