Service Description: Purpose:
Primary purpose is to quantify floating and submerged aquatic vegetation in the channel.
Survey Date and Time:
Data was collected on 12/5/2023 1015-1230 PST
Imagery Acquisition:
The imagery was collected using a DJI Mavic 2 Pro UAS, operating at 250’ above ground level, along one single flight line following the center line of Paradise Cut from the weir on the San Joaquin River to the confluence with Old River. The field collection was controlled by a DJI Smart Controller running the DJI Pilot app.
Software Processing:
Images were imported into ArcGIS Pro 3.1 using the Ortho Mapping workspace tool, block adjusted, and an Orthomosaic was generated. No external control points were used for this project.
Adjustment summary from ArcGIS Pro:
Number of Adjusted Images 2725
Number of Tie Points 17513992
Number of Solution Points 5648711
Mean Reprojection Error / Sigma Naught (pixel) 0.34 / 0.47
Ground Resolution (m/pixel) 0.018
Adjustment Type Frame
Ground Control Points Involved in Adjustment No
