Purpose:
Primary purpose is to quantify floating and submerged aquatic vegetation in the channel.
Survey Date and Time:
Data was collected on 11/22/2021 1215-1245 PST
Imagery Acquisition:
The imagery was collected using a DJI Mavic 2 Pro UAS, operating at 300’ above ground level, along one single flight line following the center line of Sugar Cut from the beginning of the channel to Old River. The field collection was controlled by a DJI Smart Controller running the DJI Pilot app.
Software Processing:
Images were imported into ArcGIS Pro 2.8.0 using the Ortho Mapping workspace tool, block adjusted, and an Orthomosaic was generated. No external control points were used for this project.
