The California Department of Water Resources, North Central Region Office (NCRO), conducted a bathymetric survey of the Five Points area, including parts of Grant Line Canal, Doughty Cut, Old River, Paradise Cut, and Sugar Cut, for the South Delta Branch of the Bay Delta Office for use in flow circulation and water quality studies. The NCRO S/V Oquawka, outfitted with a multibeam echosounder, was used for this survey.
