Service Description: The California Department of Water Resources (DWR), North Central Region Office (NCRO), Bathymetry Data Collection Section, conducted a bathymetric survey of Middle River from the head at Old River north to Undine Road as part of the Delta Wide Bathymetry Program. The main purpose of the data is to help complete bathymetric datasets of the South Delta and to allow for relevant comparisons.
• Survey Dates: February 12, 2024
• Vessels Used: NCRO R/V Oquawka; NCRO ASV EchoBoat
• Instrumentation: Multibeam echo sounder with Inertially-Aided Post-Processed Kinematic (IAPPK) GPS procedures.
• Density: 1 ft grid
• Horizontal Datum: North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) California Coordinate System (CCS83) State Plane Zone III , US feet
• Vertical Datum: North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88), US feet
• Process Date Epoch: 2017.5; Datum Epoch: 2017.5
