Service Description:

The California Department of Water Resources (DWR), North Central Region Office (NCRO), Bathymetry Data Collection Section, conducted a bathymetric survey for of of the Sacramento River / Georgiana Slough junction to aid in determining the status of the submerged fish barrier structure and any accumulation of debris prior to removal by divers. Bathymetry was collected on the Sacramento River from 100 ft to 2500 ft downstream of the Walnut Grove Bridge (about 800 ft upstream to 1600 ft downstream of the Georgiana Slough centerline) and on Georgiana Slough from the Sac. River junction to 100 ft downstream of the Isleton Road Bridge. The fish barrier is visible in this dataset as a linear feature spanning the mouth of Georgiana Slough, however a bare earth cleaned surface can also be provided upon request.
