Service Description: Detailed center lines of the Suisun Marsh levee systems, and broken into singular segments of consistent-attribute sets. This data can be used for levee maintenance and management, flood modeling and prediction, as well as levee inventories. Data was compiled from various Suisun Marsh levee datasets, and lines were editted or created to coincide with the available LiDAR The associated data are considered DWR enterprise GIS data, which meet all appropriate requirements of the DWR Spatial Data Standards, specifically the DWR Spatial Data Standard version 3.1, dated September 11, 2019. DWR makes no warranties or guarantees — either expressed or implied — as to the completeness, accuracy, or correctness of the data. DWR neither accepts nor assumes liability arising from or for any incorrect, incomplete, or misleading subject data. Comments, problems, improvements, updates, or suggestions should be sent to gis@water.ca.gov.

Description: This centerline has a multitude of potential uses for project tracking and spatial analysis. It is suitable for use as the base for a linear referencing system to record information about the State Water Project canal system, as a component of a hydrologic model, or simply as a cartographic element on both small and large scale maps. Canal centerlines were derived from the data in i17_StateWaterProject_Basemap. Pipeline and reservoir centerlines were copied from i17_StateWaterProject_Lines.
The associated data are considered DWR enterprise GIS data, which meet all appropriate requirements of the DWR Spatial Data Standards, specifically the DWR Spatial Data Standard version 2.1, dated March 9, 2016. DWR makes no warranties or guarantees —either expressed or implied — as to the completeness, accuracy, or correctness of the data. DWR neither accepts nor assumes liability arising from or for any incorrect, incomplete, or misleading subject data.
