Service Description: Complete product metadata is as follows: Task 1 – Survey Control Survey control was provided solely by airborne GPS technology. No field survey was performed under this assignment. Task 2 – Airborne Data Acquisition Four band (RGB-IR) imagery was acquired for the study area on June 13-14, 2018. The airborne mission was conducted as the following times: June 13, 2018 – 8:03am to 11:15am June 14, 2018 – 9:07am to 10:11am The mission plan was based on the following parameters: Camera: Vexcel UltraCAM Falcon Prime Nominal Resolution: 13.5 cm Altitude: 8000 ft AMT Flightlines: 41 Exposures: 1034 Task 3 – Terrain Modeling Terrain models required for orthophoto production were developed from the imagery using a combination of online data sources (USGS 3D Elevation Program) and manual photogrammetric compilation methods. Task 4 – Orthophoto Generation Analytical aerotriangulation was performed on the imagery using INPHO's MATCH AT software. The orthorectification and mosaicking was performed using OrthoMaster and OrthoVista software. In accordance with typical mapping practice, the imagery was rectified at ground level. Therefore, the tops of above-ground features (such as rooftops, tops of structures, tops of trees, tops of poles, etc.) may not necessarily appear in their correct horizontal positions. The resolution of the orthophoto imagery is 0.5ft. This is an official DWR Image Service, republished on March 25, 2019 by Stephanie Baker of the Division of Engineering, Geodetic Branch, Geospatial Data Support Section, who may be contacted at stephanie.baker@water.ca.gov, or 916-653-9815.
