The California Department of Water Resources (DWR), North Central Region Office (NCRO), Bathymetry Data Collection Section, conducted a bathymetric survey of the Sacramento River near Clarksburg for DWR's Delta Conveyance Office on behalf of the Delta Conveyance Authority. The purpose of this survey is for assessment of patterns of deposition and scour in the channel reach, bed stability and suitability for future intake planning. This measurement was collected after an early season high-flow event during which the flow was recorded to be between 50,000 to 80,000 cfs for three weeks.
