Service Description:

The California Department of Water Resources (DWR), North Central Region Office (NCRO), Bathymetry Data Collection Section, conducted a bathymetric survey of the Sacramento River as part of the Delta Wide Bathymetry Program. The main purpose of the data is to help complete bathymetric datasets of the North Delta and allow for relevant comparisons.

• Field Dates: August 17-31, September 5,8,18, October 23-31, November 7-13, 27-30, December 11 2023; January 3-4, 16-18, 29-30, February 1, 2024

• Survey Type: Multibeam

• Data Density: 1 foot grid

• Horizontal Datum: North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) California Coordinate System (CCS83) State Plane Zone 2, US feet

• Vertical Datum: North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88) geoid 12B, US feet

• Processing Epoch: 2024.088; CSRC Datum Epoch: 2017.5
