Bathymetry was collected on the Sacramento River from 100 ft to 2500 ft downstream of the Walnut Grove Bridge (about 800 ft upstream to 1600 ft downstream of the Georgiana Slough centerline) and on Georgiana Slough from the Sac. River junction to 100 ft downstream of the Isleton Road Bridge. The fish barrier is visible in this dataset as a linear feature spanning the mouth of Georgiana Slough, however a bare earth cleaned surface can also be provided upon request.

• Field Dates: May 16, 2024

• Survey Type: Multibeam

• Data Density: 1 foot grid

• Horizontal Datum: North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) 2011, California Coordinate System (CCS83) State Plane Zone 2, US feet

• Vertical Datum: North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88), US feet

• Processing Epoch: 2024.375; CSRC Datum Epoch: 2017.5

• Related Datasets: Georgiana Slough 2020; Sacramento River at Walnut Grove 2022

• Involved Staff: Data collected and processed by NCRO Bathymetry and Hydrography sections

• Survey Responsible Charge: Jacob Wright, PLS (CA 8717)

For complete metadata make sure the viewer (ArcGIS or other software) is set to view FGDC metadata.

For full survey details and QAQC information please see the survey report associated with this dataset.
